It has been running since 2005 at NIVEDITA COMPLEX, Faridpur for care & protection of abandoned, surrendered and fondling babies upto six years under legal license from the Deptt. of Women & Child Development & Social Welfare, Govt. of W.B. under Women & Children Institution (Licensing) Rules 1958. Child adoption is also offered by this agency following the CARA norms. There is an arrangement for over all maintenance and bringing up the babies.
