B.Ed. Special Education (MR)

Like formal education to normal students, there is need of special education to especially able children, especially the Blind, the Mentally Retarded, and the Hearing Impaired. As specially able children are unable to undergo normal education methods, separate & special course & methodology have been introduced by several Universities of our country. Realizing the deficiency of properly educated teachers in such special methodology, Netaji Subhash Open University introduced B.Ed. Special Education course through eligible educational Institutions, NGOs, etc. for conducting such special teachers’ training in collaboration with Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). since 2005-06 academic session RCI approved ODL Course (B.Ed. Spl. Ed. MR- ODL) of 2+½ yrs. i.e. 5 semesters has been introduced at Vivekananda Complex, Faridpur as a Study Centre of the University. Now the intake of student is 40.
